It all begins with an idea…
Collaborating with Casting Director, Peta Dermatis at her studio, Studio P in Melbourne, I had the privilege of painting a scene inspired by her family's heritage home of Greece for the casting studio. The tranquil beauty of Greece, with its light golden sunsets and shimmering sea painted onto two large canvases to expand the room, perfectly complements the peaceful atmosphere of the space she has created. Peta wanted to create a calming environment where the actors feel relaxed and focused. I have worked in many audition spaces and studios around the world and Peta’s is special, it is filled with love, curation and natural light. It has been a joy to paint there.
