Stranger in my Sheets is a music video created with singer songwriter Sylvie Wiley for her song of the same name. The film explores female isolation and the desire for touch and companionship, while preserving safety, integrity, and emotional autonomy. It delves into shifting power dynamics, both between individuals and within the protagonist’s inner struggles.

Lou has primarily worked as a casting director since graduating with a Film & Television BA Hons degree in 2012. Her career has seen rapid growth across high-profile projects. She’s worked on major productions including HBO’s Warrior, His Dark Materials, The New Pope, Wedding Season, and The Night Manager, as well as feature films like Rogue One; A Star Wars Story, Assassin’s Creed, and The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard. She recently was a researcher to A24’s Pillion by Harry Lighton. Her first major feature as casting director, Christmas Karma (dir. Gurinder Chadha), starring Eva Longoria and Hugh Bonneville, is out this year. She’s cast music videos for top UK and US artists. She recently made her directorial debut with Sylvie Wiley’s music video, Stranger in my Sheets, and has feature films currently in development.
